Information we collect
BetterBite may collect account details, body and nutrition preferences, foods and drinks you log, images you choose to scan, Kitchen inventory, app activity, device information, and messages you send to BetterBite Coach. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by BetterBite.
How we use information
We use information to operate the service, personalize calorie and macro guidance, analyze scans, maintain daily and weekly progress, answer Coach questions, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.
AI and scan processing
Information submitted for scanning or Coach may be sent to service providers that help analyze images or generate responses. We limit submitted data to what is needed to provide the requested feature and require providers to process it under their applicable data-protection terms.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with hosting, analytics, AI, payment, security, and customer-support providers solely to operate BetterBite, or when required by law.
Retention and choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing betterbite.app@gmail.com.
Security and age
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. BetterBite is not directed to children under 13.
